1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work; others track you for analytics or advertising.
2. This website
This marketing site sets no cookies. If you pick a language, that choice is kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. We count page views and which site sent you there, without cookies or anything that identifies you, and not at all if your browser asks not to be tracked. It does not use advertising cookies.
3. The app
The LankFit app uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in, a cookie that remembers your language, and, only if you arrived through a partner’s link, a cookie that remembers which partner sent you. The first two are needed for the app to work. The partner cookie only exists so the right partner is credited, and nothing else is read from it.
4. Cookie list
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| session | Keeps you logged in | Up to 400 days, or until you log out |
| th_lang | Remembers your language (English or Afrikaans) | 1 year |
| th_ref | Remembers the partner whose link you followed, so they are credited if you sign up | 60 days |
5. Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you won't be able to log in.
