Any sport

Built for triathletes. Just as good if you only run, ride or swim.

Tell it what you train and every score, chart, record and race follows. A runner gets run readiness and run records, with no swim tab in the way. Your other sports can still count towards fatigue, so you never look fresher than you are.

How it works for one sport

Proudly South African

Made in South Africa. Speaks Afrikaans.

LankFit was built at home, for the races we actually line up for. The whole app, your emails and this website are available in Afrikaans, so you can train in the language you think in.

In Afrikaans, not just a menuEvery page, chart and email, and Ask answers in Afrikaans too. Pick it when you sign up, or switch any time in Settings.
Knows your racesIt finds your results on South African timing sites, and it calls the distance “Olympic (Standard)” like your race organiser does.
Local from end to endPriced in rand, paid through Paystack, hosted in Johannesburg, and built around POPIA: export or delete your data whenever you like.
Where LankFit comes from

Why it exists

You don’t train to feel busy. You train to get faster.

LankFit keeps the score: every session, every race, every season, measured against nobody but your own best.

Progress over time

Race by race, watch yourself get faster.

Every finish time, every split, every placing, lined up against the races before it. Not a screenshot of one good day: the whole story of how you've improved.

Know how good that result really is.

Every best is set against standards for the distance and against the field you raced in. You get a class, a level and the next milestone to chase, from the first sub-35 5K to sub-16, and from your first triathlon to your hundredth.

Every discipline

Four sports. Four ways to see progress.

Each one gets its own view, built around what actually tells you you're improving in it.

Swim

Swim: know your pace, trust the trend.

Open water, pool, the odd squad session: they all land in one place, with the numbers that matter.

  • Pace per 100 m for every swim, with splits and heart rate.
  • Personal bests at 750 m, 1.5 km, 1.9 km and 3.8 km.
  • Your swim placing in each triathlon, race after race.

Bike

Bike: see whether the hours are paying off.

Long rides are an investment. Here's what they're returning.

  • Aerobic efficiency over time, with the change in plain words.
  • Power, heart rate and zones for any ride.
  • Personal bests at 20, 40, 90 and 180 km, plus climbing per ride.

Run

Run: hills shouldn't lie about your pace.

The discipline most of us judge ourselves on, so it should be judged fairly.

  • Grade-adjusted pace, so a hilly long run isn't a slow one.
  • Personal bests at 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon.
  • Aerobic efficiency and your run readiness against your own best.

Strength

Strength: the training that doesn't get skipped.

Lifting counts. It just usually vanishes from the data. Not here.

  • Sessions, time and your streak, counted properly.
  • Average session length, week by week.
  • Strength sits in your readiness and load, alongside swim, bike and run.

Race goals

Know what each leg needs to be.

Set a goal time and LankFit splits it into swim, T1, bike, T2 and run targets. Then it shows the gap between those and where your recent efforts put you. Your current block sits over the lead-up to your best race, so you can see if you're on track.

Readiness

Not sure you're ready?

Here's a straight answer for each of your sports, measured against your own best. Not an average athlete. You.

  • This block against the build before your best race.
  • The time each leg still needs to find.

Ill for a week? Your charts will say so.Health events

After every session

Did that session help? It tells you.

Finish a run, sync, and LankFit reviews it: your readiness before and after, how tired you are, and a plain verdict. Right call, fine, too much, or wrong call, with the reason. Then it ranks what to do next by how much each option would add.

  • Scored against your own load and your illness or injury, not a generic plan.
  • Done enough today? It says so, and shows tomorrow's best.
  • Rain or a gale? The ride becomes a trainer ride.

What could go wrong

Watch-outs before they become injuries.

No open water swims before an open water race. No long ride before the saddle sores. A run that jumped in distance. The three that matter most show first, each with one thing to do this week.

  • Say Got it and it steps aside, then returns if it is still true.
  • Always on for body risks: training hard while ill, too many big days in a row, no day off.

Watch-outs · before Puffer 70.3 · sample data

0 open water swims in the last 8 weeks

This week: one open water swim, even 20 minutes, and practise sighting every ten strokes.

This week: hold it under 33 km, and keep the long run easy.

The three that matter most show first, ranked by impact. Say "Got it" and a watch-out steps aside, then comes back if it's still true.

Health events

Your charts should know you were ill.

Go quiet for a few days and LankFit asks what happened. Tell it once, and every chart remembers. Illness, injury, taper and recovery appear as shaded bands behind your load and fitness.

  • A fortnight on the couch shouldn’t look like a fitness crash. Now it doesn’t.
  • Races are handled for you: ten days of taper before, a week of recovery after.
  • A heart-rate hint when the last session before a gap looked off. A hint, never a diagnosis.

LankFit doesn’t diagnose anything. It notices gaps and odd heart rates, and you decide what they mean. Not medical advice.

Results finder

Every result filed. Nothing overwritten.

LankFit finds your official results on FinishTime and PeakTiming, then shows you exactly what would change. You confirm, or it doesn’t happen.

  • Splits, placings and age group, matched to your race.
  • T1 and T2 measured from your Strava timestamps.
  • Per-leg placing, so you know which leg cost you.

FAQ

Before you sign up

More in Help
Is LankFit only for triathletes?

It is built for triathletes, and it works just as well if you only run, ride or swim. Tell it what you train and every score, chart, record and race follows. Sessions in your other sports can still count towards your fatigue, so your freshness stays honest, or you can leave them out.

What do I need to start?

A Strava account with your activities on it. Apple Health or Health Connect, through the LankFit app on your phone, is optional and adds sleep, resting heart rate, HRV, weight and VO2max.

How much does it cost?

R99 a month, or R990 a year. One plan, every feature included.

Does LankFit write anything to Strava or your health app?

No. Both connections are read-only. LankFit reads your data and never posts, edits or deletes anything on either service.

Does it write a training plan?

LankFit shows where you are, where each leg needs to be, and the gap between them. The plan stays yours, or your coach's.

Can I cancel?

Yes, from Settings, any time. You keep access until the end of what you have paid for, and any charge in the last 14 days can be refunded in full.

Obsessed with progress?

Progress, proven.

R99 a month. Connect Strava tonight, and your whole history is there before your next session.
